bIG 5 flooring specialists providing a comprehensive service in all aspects of wood flooring, floor sanding and parquet restoration. We are a family run company that does not hire subcontractors and pride ourselves on our customer service and high quality of workmanship covering a wide area around our home town of Salisbury including most of Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire.

Having your wooden floorboards sanded can bring a fresh look to your living space with the option of having the gaps filled to control heat loss through draughts. Floorboards can be stained in a multitude of colours to bring a whole new feel to your home we recommend sealing with Bona Traffic available in extra matt, matt, satin or gloss finish depending on your personal taste. MOSAIC PARQUET RESTORATION
parquet restorations - Repairs - Replacement - Sanding - Gap filling - cleaning - Refinishing Mosaic parquet wood flooring was fitted in a huge number of properties in the 1960's and 1970's and offer a beautifully interesting flooring option. With a professional restoration these floors can look amazing and make you the envy of any visitor. Very much in vogue at the moment. We can also supply and fit Mosaic parquet flooring. Mosaic parquet can be finished in may different finishes.

FLOORBOARD SANDING
When its comes to repairing your floorboards it is best to keep as much of the existing floor as possible, getting a good colour match on the existing wood can be a challenge due to the age, species and country of origin. We always aim to repair floors with reclaimed wood of the same species. It's important to use reclaimed wood when it comes to repairs as new wood can look extremely different due to changes in moisture content, cell structure and chemical composition as time goes on, which can significantly change the appearance.
